The new office facility for Helsinki City Transport (HKL) centers multiple functions of the department under the same roof. The building plot is located on the metro track right next to the Herttoniemi station and bus terminal. The building houses a control room and technical spaces serving the metro system and social spaces for both metro guards and bus drivers and is therefore in use 24/7.
